Welcome to Montini
Montini Catholic School serves over 317 students in Preschool through 8th grade.
It is located in McHenry, Illinois near the beautiful Fox River.
Three parishes, St. Patrick, St. Mary of the Assumption and Church of Holy Apostles all support the school.
The basic curriculum of Montini includes: Language Arts, Reading, Social Studies, Science, Mathematics, and Religion classes (which include participation in Liturgies and paraliturgies).
Montini is Illinois State Board of Education recognized and Rockford Diocese certified.
Fund Raiser for One of Our Own
Join us at Nick's Pizza & Pub on Wed. Oct. 22, 2014 from 4:00-10:00 to raise money for the Emma Quid Fund.
Emma is a 5th grade student at Montini who was diagnosed with a brain tumor. Our efforts are to raise money to help meet Emma's uninsured medical expenses. Bring your family and friends to help support this amazing Montini student.
You must have the flyer in order to earn money for Emma's bills, we cannot pass them out at Nicks.

*If you are unable to attend the fundraiser but would like to help, there is a bank account set up for
the Emma Quid Fund. Anyone can mail a check to Algonquin Bank and Trust, 4049 W. Algonquin Rd.,
Algonquin, IL 60102. They are part of Wintrust Banks. A donation can also be made to the Emma Quid
Fund at McHenry Bank and Trust. They are located at 2205 N Richmond Rd. **
8th Grade Fund Raisers
and Poinsettia Sale
Help support the Montini 8th grade by purchasing your Christmas decorations through them. All wreaths and poinsettias will be from Harms Farm.
Orders are due to Mrs. Wagner by Nov. 5, and can be picked up AT HARMS FARM Nov. 29-30.

The 8th grade is selling Yankee candles. They make a great Christmas gift or hostess gift for your holiday parties.
Orders are due on Oct. 27 with delivery around the end of November. The order forms were sent home in the family folder. Make checks payable to Montini 8th grade.

Originally McHenry supported two Catholic schools, St. Marys and St. Patricks. In the 1970s the two school combined to create Montini Catholic School. In 1989 Church of Holy Apostles was formed and joined Montini Catholic School.
Montini Catholic School is named after Pope Paul the 6th, whose family name was Giovanni Battista Antonio Maria Montini. He was elected Pope on June 21, 1963.

This year the students of Montini Catholic Primary Center will again partner with the City of McHenry in the Character Counts! program. This years theme is “WE ARE ONE- United in love of God (faith), learning (knowledge), and God’s children (service).
